Whilst waiting for paint to dry, I tested a theory that the new sequitors would make good Fallen Dark Angels;



Pretty pleased with the finished model. Have another that I'll add when I get a better picture.

Where were you two weeks ago? I just spent too many hours trying to sculpt robes onto primaris marines, specifically to make Fallen.

Looks great, the parts mesh quite well.

It looks good. How much of it is the base Sequitor?

Definitely one of the better Stormcast Marine conversions I've seen.I think the robes help a lot there, covering up the telltale unarmoured knee and hip joins and the breastplate.

Looking forward to seeing some paint on it.

@Mr Nobody, sorry bud, always late to the party...

@ ancestral hamster I haven't actually done too much to the base model, the biggest job was clipping the original pauldrons off. I shaved off the chain pedant and replaced it with a raven wing insignia (because that's what I had to hand), new head and weapon, glued on a backpack, holstered pistol and the new pauldrons. Neck to feet is largely intact.

@paradigm cheers bud, not seeing much of the armour definitely helps sell the conversion, although I think the biggest mistake many make is not changing the pauldrons. As for painting, I might hold off until a suitable monthly challenge arises.

Just gonna say the more I look at this the more I like it. Can’t wait to see the painted version

@SCM cheers mate, really nice of you to say. I might get some paint on after finishing the interceptors. Not sure whether to go quite rough and battered looking, or a more polished finish?
