Hello, as a longtime eldar player I have pre-ordered the wake the dead box. I decided to use the marine half combined with the betrayal at calth box set to get an instant marine army for cheap, by gw standards at least! I was definitely lacking long range heavy support options so with the addition of a couple of Dreadnaughts I've come up with this list. I plan to paint them up as salamanders and their re-roll ability should help with this list. I plan to, roughly speaking, run them in three blobs. One with the dreads, intercessors and the Devs supported by the liuetenant, a foot slogging blob moving up with the tactical squads, the contemptor, the final blob will be in reserve comprising the captain, the terminators and the inceptors. I'm not looking for a competitive list, just something that is decent enough to have fun with.
Any feedback on this list so far?

Are terminators really that bad? I can see they're laughably slow but I figured if I can teleport them in they can hold up some tanks or other units, they're pretty durable at least, right?

Even though this is a fun list, I'd consider adding a chain fist to one of those terminators. I've learned from experience, that CF are not to joked around with, and when used correctly, they can canopen just about anything in the game transport wise, giving the rest of those claw boyes something to shred for their delicious post battle taco party.

They're not that bad at all in fact. I use them in my 2K Salamander list all the time, but I run my much more different than yours.

1 Sgt. Pair of claws
3 With TH/SS
2 with Pair of Claws

And they really really tear stuff up.

Thanks for the advice, with a bit of jiggery-pokery I've given the captain and the sergeant a chain fist.
