This list is what I'm thinking of going for. It's got a decent number of infantry, bit of fire support and 5x Leman Russes, with 11CP alltogether. I decided not to go for Kurov/GS, and instead went for RoLC, as a nice bubble of rerolling 1's to wound can't hurt, even if it's for one turn.

I've already had a bit of feedback and they were a bit confused about the Autocannon squads, they're primarily there as I wouldn't have the points for a dedicated Autocannon HWS, and the Flamers can put a bit extra damage on anything that gets close.

However, I'm thinking if the Tempestus are necessary; I've been building a squad that look like pretty awesome Kasrkin stand-ins and would like to include them partially because of the effort I put into making them, but a small suicide plasma squad can't hurt can it? Otherwise I may swap them and free up some points for a Culexus, but would this be worth the -1CP?

While the House of Companions has taken a bit of a hit, hopefully this list will still be pretty strong. It's 14CP, so bit more than the last one, and is pretty simple. However I ran something very similar to this against 1500IG a few weeks ago and it did absoltely terribly. The bloke had 4x Basilisks and by my first turn the Errant and Gallant were below half-wounds, even with RIS and Ion Bulwark. With this in mind I'm thinking it may be simply too big a risk putting all my points into the Knights.

Nothing wrong with putting most of the points into the knights. I would make the following changes though:

1. Replace all the flamers with plasma guns on your guardsmen. Flamers just aren't that good. Plasma is versatile.
2. Replace armor of the sainted ion relic with the Sanctuary relic instead for the Gallant. An often overlooked tactic is that you can use rotate ion shields in the fight phase to give your Gallant a 4++ in melee, which is where he wants to be anyways.
3. Spend 3 CP before the battle begins to buy kurov's on a company commander, and an extra relic and WT for the knights. Give the Crusader Ion Bulwark and endless fury, and give the Gallant Sanctuary and knight Seneschal.

Just look out for smite spam because even if you trade one of the relics for Angel's Grace, it's still only on one knight.
Also, with the new limits on CP regen there's no need to take Grand Strategist and Kurov's at once as it's overkill, hence why I would only take Kurov's.

Thanks for the input

1: I don't really have the resources to add Plasma to the squads, they're already built up with Flamers, adding Plasma will be good but I'm unsure as to wherever I can get them done in time. There'll be extra points for painted+WYSIWYG armies so I'm hoping to score those as well.

2: Good point. Additionally, would it be worth swapping 2 Russes on the first list for a Gallant? I could ditch the Executioner and a standard Russ, although I'd like to keep the Demolisher if possible.

3: That's a good idea, would it be worth going for Kurov anyway, as it's still only a 1/3 chance to get a point back each turn?

Anyway, if you want to be competitive might as well run a house raven castellan. Reroll 1s on almost everything is really good.

As far as I'm aware you can take Tempestus in your detachments without losing the Regiment benefit, but the Tempestus themselves won't benefit from their own traits.

That list looks good, but would 3x Jetbike Captains make a suitable alternative to the Blood Angels? Something like this.

Dont replace the armor of the sainted ion relic. First it helps against mass AP0 or AP-1 weapons, second you dont need to rotate ion shields when you get hit with an AP-2 melee weapon to get a 4+ sv. Armor of the sainted ion and ion bulwark is the way to go.
