God I hate painting white. I used to hate painting red more but GW solved that for me. Now the least favorite color to work with is white. And not just with GW products but also model kits as well. What brand do you guys use if painting a large-ish model with white paint, and do you use a brush or air-brush?

We use our Arctic White for everything that needs doing with white, it's extremely versatile, you can use it for Priming, Layering, Glazing, Edge painting, detail work etc.
All your need to do is add the required amount of water/thinner to get the desired effect

Anytime I have a model that will be primarily white, I just spray paint it white, wash in a very light grey, then do several thinned down dry-brushes of white. Then I pick out raised or flat areas with a thin coat of white For example: -

Start with dark grey, do a coat of light grey, then white as either a final layer or as a highlight. Needs more layers, but looks good.
As for yellow, do the same as above then use Cassandora Yellow wash, highlight with bone and glaze with Lamenters Yellow.

You should try ours, anyone who has tried our yellow has been blown away by it and it's coverage over any basecoat.
