You guys think that GW should let us field Gal Vorbaks, the ashen circle and other world bearers units in 40k?
It is not like all of them died in the Horus Heresy(or did they since most of them turning into full blown daemons in the end), so why shouldn't we see them in 40k? I am so interested in the word bearers recently and this is kinda my thought about it.
Ashen circle can be taken as raptors but then raptors don't take hand flamers.
I guess I can field them as terminators or something since they are on 40mm base.

Take this with a huge grain of salt. There’s some rumours about deamon Lorgar being released as a model. If so we’ll likely see more world bearers from Gw. It’s likely they’ll get the treatment of a thousand sons though with a not very extensive model list. The only thing world bearers used to have back in 3.5ed that was diffrent from regular chaos was the apostle. A chaos space marine hq with the same rules as a vanilla space marine chaplain. If they get new stuff expect something along those lines.
Otherwise just build a 30k world bearers army.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary. |

As far as i know all of the Gal Vorbak except Argel Tal were sent to Calth. Argel Tal in place of Gal Vorbak created Vakrah Jal.

GW will eventually release all the surviving primarchs. Just way way after every army they actually care about, ie. Fulgrim, Angron, Leman Russ. (They might have already released Alpharius, we just don't know which one ) Automatically Appended Next Post:

That's the theory, although I'm not familiar with the models beyond a couple of wistful glances at the Forge World website - it might be that their rules in Horus Heresy are so much better than the current rules for Possessed, or it might be that the models are noticeably larger in scale?

I don’t have the rulebook to hand, but from memory the Gal Vorbak’s HH rules make them more powerful than 40k Possesed Marines. They are, however, both more expensive in points, and still a bit rubbish on the table.

Their rules are a lot better than 6th edition Possessed though, having an extra wound like everyone and their mother wanted and more importantly Rending with lots of attacks.
Possessed are better than they used to be (MUCH BETTER) but they're still not exactly great.
