Hello DakkaDakka! Putting together a small Blood Angels list. I left the hobby several years ago and am thinking of returning with a modest list. I hope to get some feedback before purchase. Thought it might be an opportunity to start fresh.

A BA captain should always have a TH and SS. He is called captain slamguinius, and he can do devastating damage, killing an imperial knight in one turn. Instead of a librarian use mephiston, he is well worth the points, even with the increase happening with CA. Sniper scouts arent worth it. Use boltguns or knives. Tac squads are meh. Dont use rhinos, use razorbacks with twin AC, or twin LC. They serve as tanks and transports. DC should always be accompanied by lemartes, he is a great buffer for them. More units worth using are inceptors, aggressors, scout bikers, maybe land speeders, they get a nice point drop with CA.

Better. But i would remove the tac squads and go with another razorback or dread for the points. CA was released today and it has point reductions for many units in your lists. Only mephiston goes up in points. You should recalculate your list.

Maybe change one Tac squad for a devastator squad with a HB and a ML for both stratagems. And there you have the signum and the possibility of the cherub for reload one stratagem shot.

You dont need 4 troop choices, only 3 for a battalion. Remove the tac squad, and one assault squad for a razorback. Or add a HQ and put your elite choices in a vanguard detachment for +1 CP.
