The Knights of Blood is a Space Marine Chapter that went renegade for unable to control the Black Rage. At one point, some of them went full Chaos and invaded the Ratling homeworld, nearly destroying it. The Loyalists would go on to fight in the Devastation of Baal, only to be apparently annihilated. However, I am not seeing many lore regarding this split.

Can anyone clarify how elements of the Chapter turn to Khorne and if there has been any notable encounter between the traitor and loyal Knights of Blood?

If I recall, these two are actually unrelated to one another,
In the Deathwatch RPG, you can play as a Knight of Blood in a supplement, and it makes a quick reference to the confusion between the chapter and the Khornate warband.

I stand by Lex before wiki, not sure if there is anything new as they are a obscure Chapter.

The 40k wiki is unreliable, it has fan fiction mixed into a lot of the entries. Anything you find there that isn't also on Lexicanium is probably false.

I'm puzzled by 'the ratling Homeworld'. They're a relatively common abhuman strain, known on many worlds (wherever specific environmental conditions apply, mostly gravity and attached pseudoscience scifi tropes)

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

I don't believe there's any hard evidence these are the same chapter.
