So I have a 5 man on sprue scion squad and managed to pick up some extra melta guns because I want to run them all as melta. Problem is there is only one melta left and right arm. Any ideas on how I can fit the other 4 with melta? I was just going to play around with the lasgun arms but wanted to know if there was another way, or the best way to do it with other arms that you've had luck with.

The arms on the sprue are so specific that even the hotshot Las gun arms are not all interchangeable. My feeling is that you'll have to do some light conversion work on the arms in the kit to get them to work, unless you're somehow able to source 3 more pairs of the melta arms.

I just bought some scions for a friend's Kill Team and he's going to have to do the same thing, except with plasma guns.

Plasma guns are much easier because you can buy each arm seperately and the plasma gun is attached to the right arm. Buying melta online you just get the gun and not the two arms, same with a lot of the other weapon loadouts which sucks. Looks like I'm going to have to convert a bit

Assuming you mean the scion melta bit, the hand placement looks to be the same as 4 of the 5 lasguns, so you should be able to just cut the lasgun off the right hand and slot the melta in its place with minimal fuss.

I suspect Luciferian might be referring to SM plasma guns, which do require more work.

Catachan plasma guns, but same deal. If you want to have multiple plasma gun Scions, using that one arm over and over kind of looks silly. Still, you could just use the foregrip handle arms that go with the grenade launcher and flamer, so perhaps melta guns do take more work as they actually have the second hand molded onto the gun itself.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'm going to try the lasgun now and I'll let you know how I go. I know the plasma can look bad all in the same pose but I'm okay with that for now. It's mostly about the melta for me
