Hello, trying to build the best mono faction space marines list I can. I don't play in a highly competitive meta, but everyone tries to build their lists to be at least somewhat optimized. I face a variety of factions, but I don't have to worry about knights at all. Not looking to do anything crazy, just trying to roll with mechanized marines with a bit of infantry support. Any feedback is welcomed! I also have a leviathan dreadnought, but his points can be hard to squeeze in every list.

Raven Guard Battalion

Indomitious Crusaders (-1 cp)

HQ

Captain w/ bolt pistol and power sword (chapter master upgrade)
LT with bolt pistol and power sword

Troops

9 intercessors, with sgt with power sword (veterans upgrade for 1cp, will use stratagem to double fire output, ride in repulsor. I splurged on cp just for this unit to be more effective, but in my experience, marines don't have that many good strats besides the mortal wound ones, and I'm not super interested in those. I just really like the idea of basic bolter marines popping out of a transport and actually providing effective fire.)

5 intercessors

5 intercessors

5 boltgun scouts

5 boltgun scouts

Elite

Relic sicaran venator tank destroyer without sponsons

Dreadnought with twin lascannon and missile launcher

Redemptor dreadnought with double gat and stormbolters (I like him a lot more with the CA points reduction)

Flyer

Stormtalon with twin assault cannons and twin lascannons

Xiphon interceptor (two twin lascannons and anti heavy infantry missile battery)

Dedicated Transport

Razorback with twin assault cannon

Razorback with twin lascannon

Repulsor with twin lascannon, double gat and all the frags

The basic idea is that the characters will buff a fire base consisting of the dreads, razorbacks and sicaran. The scouts and two 5 man intercessor squads will attempt to screen for them. The flyers and the repulsor loaded with veteran intercessors will try to be the more mobile element. I am hoping that the spread out saturation of anti tank weapons will quickly neutralize heavy units and the anti infantry sprinkled throughout will be enough for other targets.

The stormtalon has no transport capacity. I play CSM mainly but find it most effective to play in this style where people have to choose between my bezerker filled partybuses or my renegade knight/leviathan dred etc. Works well for me.

Only thing I would say is that using the ravenguard tactic with agressors is a great (and relativly cheap) way to distract people further rather than having 5 troop choices. You can use the scout move plus them advancing and shooting.

You could add a librarian and make a vanguard with some extra firepower and some psychic/denial ability.

If you have the option, look at Mortis Dreadnoughts with twin lascannons rather than Xiphons, Stormtalons and Razorbacks. They are pretty cheap in points, very accurate and pretty durable.

Also, you don’t really need the Repulsor for the Veteran Intercessors. I’ve found that using the Raven Guard strat on them works perfectly fine for getting them into rapid fire range turn 1 – of course, it does mean you have to play towards terrain.

With the points saved you should be able to get at least 1 other character for an additional CP – maybe even 2 tech marines and another scout unit for a second battalion and repairs on all your dreads.
