A generous reading of his comment could lead to the interpretation that he's being critical of Chinese industries' notoriously spotty manufacturing standards, which if we're honest is something that everyone knows about and experiences. Your comment can not be read so generously; it ascribes to him a motivation which can not be clearly inferred from the text he wrote, and uses the supposition of that motivation to defame his character.

That's my explanation. Your comment would not have been deleted if you had chosen to ask him to clarify what he meant, or addressed the issue in a way that did not assume the worst of him and serve as a personal attack.
