Btw how is the new Fate Stay Night? I only saw the old one. It was alright but meh. Is this the same story arc or is it different? If i remember there's a visual novel somewhere where you can play it and it has different routes. Which is probably the p**n mentioned.

Kancolle is a game that is getting an anime this season. The first episode is in around 3 days, so it's little far of being dubbed. They haven't even got the Japanese out yet...
It will probably stream on animelab for free in Aus and Nz since it's been grabbed by madman, but for everyone else, Cruncyroll has it.
Actually playing the game is a real pain since you need to have the will to work through a language barrier, get a proxy IP and then do a weekly event to even get access to the game. To much trouble for what you get IMO. It's about as engaging as a phone game.
I'm surprised that you think they were robots. Have you never seen anthropomorphized characters before? It's the same idea as cat girls, but with boats.... this time.... Just stick the best boat bits on a person and bam. done. Boatgirl. The reason so many are small chested is because the class of ship and their chest size is linked. You have a lot of destroyers and very few battleships so you will notice a lot smaller girls and fewer big ones.
I'm all for it then. Yes I'm *ahem* know of, catgirls but the weird gun mini-torpedo things frew me off. also the fact that the water seemed somehow smaller than it should have.
sounds kind of intresting, tho probably not my exact cup of tea. I will check out an episode of it when it comes out, I may even wach it subbed (dun dun dun).

You're pretty much right about everything except the release date: It's already upped and subbed
From what I know, they ARE human, they are just weapon-ized. In the game, when you "create" a boat you don't want, you can "recycle" her for some materials back. The official fluff is that the the weapon systems are removed and the girl returns to her normal human life. Which I'm quite happy for, because the alternatives are nightmare-fuel:
