I was looking for somewhere to post my custom chapter for some C&C.

Here are links to Emblem, Color Scheme, and Chapter Org:

Origins:
Strategic Prognostication
M31 (2nd Founding)
Imperial Fists – Rogal Dorn

Established in the outskirts of Segmentum Tempestus, during the 2nd Founding (M31), as a preemptive measure against the forces of Chaos. They have defended against Orks and Chaos for thousands of years. Due to their location, the Seventh Sons have spent most of their time isolated and without support of other Imperium forces.

Properties:
Pure
Brothers in Battle
We Stand Alone

As successors to the Imperial Fists and Rogal Dorn, the Seventh Sons have earned a reputation as stalwart defenders. In battle, they are known to enter a trance like state as each soldier stands with his brothers, in the face of all odds. Each wound suffered, and each brother that falls, only furthers the resolve and focus of the soldier beside him. Knowing that reinforcements from the Imperium are unlikely, they have developed a patient and stoic demeanor that has allowed them to outlast any and all threats, up to this point. It is said that many of their battles have been won solely on willpower and a refusal to yield ground.

Legends:
Former Chapter Master: Killed a Daemon Prince
Venerable Dreadnaught: Bane of Orks

The Seventh Sons have defended Jokul, and its inhabitants, against Orks thousands of times, but there have been occasions when the Daemon Princes and the forces of Chaos have emerged to challenge them. Isolated, defending the outskirts of Segmentum Tempestus, they use Jokul as the anchor of their defensive line. Every time, the Seventh Sons have stood strong and repelled any attempts to push into their territory. It is foretold that near the end of the 41st Millennium, a great army of Chaos will appear in this area, and the Seventh Sons will be here, ready to face them. A former Chapter Master once used the Chapter’s iconic Heavy Thunder Hammer to slay a Daemon Prince in single combat. One of its oldest Dreadnaughts held a mountain pass for 3 days against a horde of Orks.

Homeworld:
Feral
Ice
Distant Rule

On their ice covered homeworld of Jokul, the Seventh Sons are both revered for their protection and feared for their awesome power. While primitive, the harsh environment of Jokul has turned the inhabitants into a strong and hearty populace dedicated to survival, against all odds. Any of the inhabitants that dare to climb the peaks to the Seventh Sons fortress-monastery, the Conclave, are granted the opportunity to join the ranks of the Seventh Sons. It is there that the heat of the forges provides one of the only respites to the endless cold of Jokul. However, climbing the mountains is only the first step in their initiation.

Tactical and Strategic Organization:
Codex Adherent
Close Combat

For the most part, the Seventh Sons have strictly followed the Codex Adherent, but do to their isolation and favored tactics they have made some variations to the way they organize their Companies (see chart). With their affinity for defensive tactics and counter strikes, they often set up immovable walls of troops, anchored by Centurions and Dreadnaughts. While the 2nd and 3rd Companies are used as a shield, the 4th and 5th Companies are used as a hammer to push back against any enemy advance.

Beliefs:
Honor the Ancients

Although unknown to most of the Imperium the Seventh Sons have been keeping detailed records on the history, deeds, and accomplishments of their ranks. The Seventh Sons keep sacred books with these records. Every Company has their own book of records (often used as a Standard in battle), and a second copy is kept back at the fortress-monastery. Twice in their history, one of these battle books has been lost. In these cases, a new book was started for the Company, and a new chapter was started in the fortress-monastery. In this way, every member of the Seventh Sons, past and present, will be remembered, recorded, and honored.

Strength:
Nominal

Even with their isolation, the Feral/Ice world of Jokul provides a large stock of potential recruits. While there have been instances of heavy losses, they have maintained approximately 1000 active marines throughout their companies, as well as the additional roles of the HQ, Reclusiam, Librarius, Apothecarion, and Armoury. With the addition of the Primaris reinforcements, the Seventh Sons are a force to be reckoned with.

Relics:
Heavy Thunder Hammer
Power Fist
Storm Shield
1st Company Battle Book (Standard)

. . . . .

Chapter: Seventh Sons

Warcry: “The Last Wall Shall Never Fall!”

Founding: 2nd (M31 after the Iron Cage)

Primarch: Rogal Dorn

Successors of: Imperial Fists

Successor Chapters: N/A

Numbers: 1000 +

Chapter Master: Lekhari (18th)

Homeworld: Jokul (Ice/Feral)

Fortress-Monastery: Conclave

Colors: Steel Blue (ice) / Golden Yellow (forge)

Chapter Badge: Quill

Allegiance: Imperium

Codex Compliance: Adherent

Preferred Tactics: Defensive and Counter Attacks

Mutations: Physiologically, the Chapter has lost two of the organs particular to Space Marines: the Betcher's Gland, which allows the Marine to produce acidic spittle, and the Sus-an Membrane, which allows the Marine to enter a state of suspended animation. Behaviorally, given to an obsession with conquering pain by force of will and discipline. The Seventh Sons also seem to produce a high number of Psykers and Librarians.

History: Originally a Sternhammer Strike Force, consisting of a Skyhammer Annihilation Force of the Imperial Fists led by a Librarius Conclave. During the 2nd Founding, as the Legions were divided, they were sent to Jokul, knowing that Chaos would eventually appear.

Notable Campaigns: Isolated defense of the outskirts of Segmentum Tempestus. Holding the line against Orks and Chaos specifically. Survived the War of the Beast.

Notable Characters: Chapter Masters, Venerable Dreadnaughts, Librarians, Chaplains, Captains.

Notable Miscellaneous: Each of the 10 Companies keeps a sacred book of records. In it are the records of all engagements ever participated in. These books are sometimes used as battle standards for each Company. A back-up copy of these records is kept deep within the fortress-monastery. There is also a book, kept by the Chapter Master and members of the Command Squad. This book outlines Dorn’s vision of the Codex Astartes and is kept as a living document, updated as the chapter participates in, and learns from, every engagement.

. . . . .

Seventh Sons

M31: As part of the Last Wall Protocol, during the 2nd founding of the Imperial Fists successors, Dorn established the Seventh Sons. Have a hidden counter version to the Codex Astartes, written by Dorn. Kept as a living document, updated as the chapter learns from every engagement. It would be heresy, but it would help explain their subtle variations from the Codex Astartes. Their own records could be meticulously kept, but they keep themselves hidden from Imperial Record. Known only to the original 2nd Founding Imperial Fist successors. With Guilliman’s return, the introduction of the Primaris Marines, and his editing of the Codex, it appears Dorn was correct in seeing the Codex as merely a guide, and not as absolute law.

M34: After the War of the Beast, the Imperium went to found a chapter in this sector, but found the Seventh Sons, holed up for millennia, had not only survived the Orks, but also maintained their little sector.
