Brothers, Sisters and foul Xenos!

I'm in the process of making a custom gang for Necromunda it'll probably never be played and is probably more for the fun of collecting, converting and painting etc, but I'd still like to give it a good name. So with that said let me give you the "Fluff" to get a bit of an idea.

"I'm making a custom gang for Necromunda, consisting of a load of underhive filth who've contracted a wasting plague and have banded together from leper colonies into a large gang/death cult. Said plague rots them, wasting limbs, destroying organs so on and so forth and the cult have taken to replacing things with augmetics, however dwelling at the bottom of the hive, they are rusted, faulty and made of scrap. A form of religion has formed with the masses claiming that the flesh rots and is weak and there is only strength in the machine. So, in essence they are a Cyborg Death Cult, with the aim to amass enough numbers to fight their way up the Hive and spread the word of their wretched faith in either converting or killing untill the entire hive is blessed with their rotting madness and mechanical lust.

Well, that is the rough fluff, however I need a name for this gang, I'm really not sure what to go with, they are a bunch of fanatical plague victims, a bit like the cults of Nurgle, however have the machine obsession of the Mechanicus. Swathed in rags, wielding make shift weapons, scavenged armour and arms they are a horde of zelous, plagued fanatics. So with all that said please feel free to throw some ideas of names at me!"

Also, any suggestions for conversions or anything please feel free to drop any tips or ideas, I'd love to hear peoples Ideas.

Thanks for your time!

'Host of the Iron Grace' has a slightly Cawdor feel to it.

'Cogs of the Father' has a touch of the Nurgle feel, while still maintaining the machine aspect of them.

Hi Bane,

Thanks for your time, those are both excellent names! I'll write them down.

Not sure if these are gang names or terms associated with your fluff but here goes.

Blood Rust- anyone struck by a particularly fervent enthusiasm for the cult is said to have "caught the Blood Rust" or have rust in the blood.

Rust never sleeps- an exhortation to tired cultists to remind them that the flesh may be weak but the machine is strong, they may be tired but "rust never sleeps."

Liquid lunch - when oil, hydraulic fluids and booze are all a fighter needs to sustain him.

Lend a hand- there are occasions when a formerly healthy comrade begins to break down or sicken- rather than wait for the inevitable the unfortunate individual will be expected to "lend a hand" to those in need who will cannibalise the guy. (in every sense)

Gang name - The Brass Banded Heart

With a name like this you can make all sorts of jokes about brass bands (musical bands) and brass balls and brass necks.

Any metal you like will work if you're not into that angle. Iron handed hearts or steel banded. But I like the double B of brass banded. I think it's suitably romantic too for a religious movement masking a brutal reality.
