Anyone else Jealous about the CSM stuff, I'm buying them from the box set but I won't paint them as I'm waiting for WE's to be released before I spend so much time painting just to find out they aren't in the new codex, though that Abaddon model makes me want to start a BL army. What do people think will be the next release for chaos and what do we want to see?

I’m hoping wmporers children since I really want Fulgrim. I don’t play chaos, but I will when it comes out.

Honestly, I see Black Legion with upgrade Sprues for the Undivided Legions. I don't see another Daemon Primarch on the horizon.

Won't happen for WE's or EC's, they've most assuredly have their own kits. Plus GW isn't going to waste money making upgrades until the other armies are released; if that is what you are suggesting.

I expect generic releases. Dark Apostle, new Havoc squad, a new CSM box, etc. I don't expect a cult legion until maybe 2020.

That is fair, but there are hints that Slaanesh is finally going to get some love in Age of Sigmar. Tzeetch got some love and Thousand Sons came out. Nurgle got some love and Death Guard came out. If Slaanesh does get some love I would expect Emperor's Children to come out fairly soon after. And I can't wait for them!

Wouldn't expect either this year, but couldn't rule out one or the other in 2020. It does appear that Slaanesh will be getting new models (KoS) and if past trends hold the EC will be released around the same time.

If I played CSM, I would probably play BL or EC, leaning more towards the EC as long as they get their frickin' guitars back.

The full CSM release hasn't even been announced yet and already you're asking for new, legion specific kits?

Patience man. I'd be very surprised and disappointed if there were any more CSM releases this year since the entire line looks like it's getting revamped.

If I played CSM, I would probably play BL or EC, leaning more towards the EC as long as they get their frickin' guitars back.

I love the limited edition noise marine and just hope the eventual IIIrd stuff looks even remotely as badass!

Especially since, from the looks of it, we are getting a new base CSM kit, Terminators, Havocs (IN PLASTIC!), and Abaddon. Probably multi-part releases of Oblits and Mutis, the Venomcrawler, and Greater Possessed. Also strong hints at a Dark Apostle. This is not a small release for Chaos Undivided. I just hope EC and WE get a similar release in the future.

I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm simply responding to you based on how your opening post comes across. It's hard to read the excitement in your tone when you start a sentence with "I'm jealous of x..." It instead reads as entitled.

As to your question. I'd not expect to see any other legion release this year, perhaps until winter.

When EC or WE do release (and they very likely will) they will include a Primarch centrepiece model, a Greater Daemon in the case of EC, a legion specific elite and perhaps a unique Dread model. Maybe one or two specific character models too.

Yeah of course I am jealous (that can be used in a positive sense, akin to a compliment), they are awesome models and I even said I was considering collecting BL because of how amazing the Abaddon model looked.

If they're releasing a bunch of new Chaos already, realistically I'm calling 2020 for the earliest for a cult legion release, and I'm thinking Emperor's Children are looking a tad more likely, but it could go either way.
