I'm Chronikus, and I am from Michigan, USA. Though I've been lurking on here fore some time, it seems I never introduced myself. I found this forum while looking for painting tips, and conversion ideas. And I owe most of what I learned to other members here. I wish I could remember names, and exalt you all. I've found this forum to be extremely helpful, in my quest to enter the grimdark that is 40k. I started building my army before ever playing the game, honestly. So, after a few setbacks, and a few skirmishes with my older son, I started re-tooling my barely started army for 30k. I fell in love with the lore of the great crusade, and ensuing heresy. My initial plans for building a 40k battle company quickly changed to a 30k Alpha legion company. (We're loyal to the Emperor! I swear!) Now, my time is split between building, painting, and writing my own lore to flesh out my army.
