Hello All,

Here are my latest works. Two OOP models. One OOP metal Imperial Vindicare Assassin and one OOP metal Eldar Eldrad Ulthran model painted up in Saim-Hann Craftworld colors. They are pinned to the bases.

On the Vindicare I put him on ruined concrete for the base and painted him up in almost all black. I usually go up one more highlight level on him but this time I muted it a bit because he is supposed to be an assassin staying hidden for the attack.
On the Eldar Farseer, it is the OOP version of Eldrad Ulthran and named character model. I have several of these models hanging around and I decided to do something different. I just made him into a regular Farseer for a different Eldar Craftworld. It is a one piece metal model. I got it from the old "Enemies of the Imperium" boxed set. I bought several boxes years ago.
I clear coated them using Testors Dullcoat spray and them used Vallejo brush on gloss for things that should be shiny like gemstones.

(Just added 03/22/2019) OOP plastic Chaos Space Marines Lord Kranon - The Relentless. This model is from the OOP 40K Dark Vengeance boxed game. GW had him painted in red in the illustrations but I went a different direction with your typical Chaos Black with red trim. Lots of bone color trim too. Skulls, the backbone down the center of the backpack and Chaos symbols on the chest plate like they were made from finger bones. Glowing red plasma pistol and glowing red powersword. With a fire coals chaos symbol on the base where it looks like the sword and the symbol are trading power with each other. This was a model with a lot of details on it. Chaos stuff everywhere! He was an interesting model to work on, I think he turned out ok.

The Vindicare has already sold but the Farseer and Kranon are up on eBay now if anybody is interested in them. Here is the link to the auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/dman89/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=50&_sop=1

Comments and criticisms are welcome.

Thank you for looking.

I've got that same Vindicare on my repaint list, having stripped the paint off him earlier in the year - the one I've got seems to have significant forward lean on him, though.

Was this a problem you had to deal with? And, if so, how did you go about it?

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

I did have the same problem with this model. On all the metal models I work on I remove the slotta tab on the bottom of the model. Just cut it right off. Then file down the leftover metal till it is flat. On this model with the bad lean forwards it had I just took the same Exacto knife. Remove the blade and placed the metal grip of the knife right in the spot above his feet just below the shins, The knife grip fits just right. I then place the model with the filed down flat feet on a sturdy wooden table(my workbench). Making sure his feet are flat down on the surface. I held the feet of the model in place against the wood table then pushed the body back. The metal knife grip against the feet/shins of the model hold the feet flat on the surface so then you can push/bend the model back without bending the legs. It is a subtle bend that extends the feet down a bit. You will be able to tell when you have bent the model back enough when it can stand upright on the flat surface by itself.

I attached some photos showing how. I do not have any more Vindicare Assassin models so I used an old Eldar Harlequin model to show how.

Hope this helps you.
