Last 24 hours of the second edition of this game of area control with diceless mechanics.

Previous version has good reviews on BGG. : https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/185538/tsukuyumi-full-moon-down

Project risk is only showing renders, spindly ones at that. Grey Fox Games has 10+ fulfilled KS, including boardgame miniatures, so, hopefully, the miniatures won't be a problem. Previous version used standees.

"The miniatures don’t follow a true scale due tot the larger miniatures. It mostly follows a 28mm scale"

Wow! I hadn't even heard of this KS. Looks like some cool stuff. I love the design of the characters. Hopefully we can purchase them later.

I've been really struggling with this one.

The concept is pretty sound, and the cast of factions is just up my alley. Space whales vs German mechs vs Oni vs samurai robots vs African tribesman and giant bugs?

Sure, why not.

Also dragons.

I have the same reservations about the spindly models...

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Still on the fence, since I'd only pledge for the base game and it'll be available retail. (Doesn't help that I'll never play the game or paint the miniatures. . GFG doesn't have a miniatures reputation and is fulfilling 3+ KS already.

I guess with Reaper having its Bones V KS this year, and CMON its Night of the Living Dead this year (?), I might pass.

Only miniatures I could find are for their City of Gears game. : https://boardgamegeek.com/image/4426047/city-gears

Well, they screwed their last ks backers who have cardboard instead of minis now, and they don't plan do produce cardboard anymore, and they conviniantly decided to change tiles size etc so that you can't use 1st edition stuff unless you buy mini upgrade pack.

Also, it's not really sure how minis instead of cardboard will impact game duration since no reviewer was send mini version but cardboard one which has lot of unit information.

All those tiny pieces on minis kinda are just beging to snap from the looks of it...
