Hemel Hempstead's wargaming club is running a 3 game, one-day warhammer 40k tournament on the 27th May in the centre of Hemel Hempstead which is in Herfordshire just off junction 20 of the M25.

1,750 points of matched play competition. The tournament is staged in a large indoor event space with proper 6x4 four tables all with fully painted scenery.

We still have some tickets left over. Check out our event page on Facebook for more details and the chance to book via PayPal.

Sounds good, but why do it on a Monday? A weekend would be much better suited to those who won't take time off work for a 40k tournament.

I believe that monday is a bank holiday in England so most people will be off work.

I would love to attend as I only live 20 mins away but am unfortunately already booked up for that day. I hope it goes well, I hadn't even realised that Hemel had a wargames club.

Anyone going here who would be able to give me a lift between Luton airport parkway and the club? As the timing and road from there is a bit awkward. Especially if I have to take 2 and half hour train journey to get there.

Yes the 27th is a bank holiday here in the UK but also the hall we play in is not available on the Saturday or Sunday.

Ainz Sama - I believe there is a national express coach to Oxford 737 that goes from Luton parkway to Hemel Hempstead. That might get you to us if you can’t get a lift.

Also there is a well attended wargaming club in Luton. Let them know about the tournament and one or two may go and could give you a lift...
