Hi all,

I'm stumped and would appreciate a little of your collective wisdom.

I'm trying to paint a word in white (probably, SWAT, or POLICE) onto a curved shield, here:


My issue is, my handwriting stinks, I don't own (and won't be able to purchase) an airbrush, and there certainly isn't any specialised transfer paper out here in this rural area

How would you go about this project using limited materials? My only thought is to try and cover the model with paper, stick a stencil on it, hit it with a rattlecan of white spray paint and pray really, really hard!

A hand cut stencil that small is going to be very difficult. If you don't want to freehand, you could try using a pen. If not, greenstuff world might make some law enforcement decals, but I'm not sure what postage would be like to se Asia.
