Please provide some feedback on the following list, note I have yet to play this edition, I'm hoping this list can be the start of a basic allcomers list I can build on. 1500pts on the nose

HQ

Chaos Lord
-chain axe, combi plasma, Nurgle (sit with havocs)

Demon Prince
-hellforged sword, maleific talon, Orb of cunliffe, warptime, wings, nurgle (move up board with CSM's

Sorcerer
-bolt pistol, force sword, nurgle, presicence, miasma of pestilence (sit with havocs)

Troops

10x CSM
-champion, all bolters, Reaper chain cannon, plasma

10x CSM
-champion w/ fist, pistols and chainswords, plasma, reaper chain cannon

5x CSM (backfield objective)
- champion


Heavy

5x Havocs
-champion, 4x Auto Cannon

5x Havocs
- Champion, 4x Lascannon


unbound detachment

Hellforged Contemptor Dread
- C-Beam cannon, twin Las (anti vechicle and anti infantry)

Hellforged leviatahan Dread
- 2x butcher cannon (walk up and anti anything)

don't see the reason for the energy fist but frankly i can see this working.

Consider splitting up the 10 man squads in 5 man squads.

Thanks, I'll give it a run out when I can and see how it goes,

I guess I put the fist in as i had the spare points, maybe get a cheaper weapon and add an extra body,

Also good idea on splitting them up into 5 man squads, I'll think I'll do that, I fail to see a down side to doing that

Imo the only lists that can run somewhat bigger CSM blocks are red corsairs, and even there the setup generally is 5 5 10 or 20 for the RC strat.

Also for purge this has an added benefit, for splitting up, due to more units shooting you can take advantage of the trait more often overall.

Why are the dreads unbound they are a heavy and an elite they fit in the battalion. If anything split one HQ with the heavies to get another cp

This, an additional CP might very well be usefull.

Will do,

It was only that way as Battle Scribe for some reason as FW heretic Astartes as a separate army so had to do it as a separate detachment, but will deffo pull off the heavy and HQ, for the extra CP
