probably a pain to use, but it looks so cool if you're a BT fan you may well want one for your main mech anyway

Simultaneously the most pointless, and most amazing, Battletech accessory I have ever seen! What's worse is I had even planned to run a campaign where each player has their own mech and that is exactly the kind of scenario these things are designed for..

Gotta agree. Silly, and awesome.

Looks awesome for sure, but pretty impractical.

Replace that “weapons display” with a tablet and put a slot somewhere on the dashboard for a Bluetooth controller, and I could see maybe some more uses (‘specially if you could get access to an Augmented Reality app to “see” the mechs on the battlefield...).

It never ends well

I think my predominant issue is simply that you tend to use more than one mech in a game of Battletech. Surely you won't have four or more of these on the tabletop, etc. It'd be a great gimmick for a convention game if you upped the rules detail to make a single mech more interesting (particularly if you're doing one of those convention Btech games at 28mm scale, etc.)

Yeah, it’d be more practical if you could fit a lance/star into the display - four/five sections per display window (or more windows - say the gauges on the lower panel replaced with the read outs for the other mechs), with the “commander” more prominent.

It never ends well

I'd buy 4 if I had the money to spare.

Smith Jamison: We aren't here, which means when we open up on you and shred your bodies with automatic fire then this will never have happened.

About the Clans: "Those brief outbursts of sense can't hold back the wave of sibko bred, over hormoned sociopaths that they crank out though."
