I am a returning player and am hoping to get a decent list for casual games without having to buy an excess of extra minis. How does this look?:

Thoughts?...

5 Terminators, 5 Obliterators, and Chaos Lord deep striking.
Possessed likely using Forward Operations stratagem and a warptime to zoom across the board early. Likely also using Benediction of Darkness on them (does the apostle need to remain within 6" of them or just when it's cast?).

I have ideas for Marks, but since they don't affect the points value I left them empty and plan to keep them fluid.

I think there's a lot of good stuff in there that perhaps just needs a little rework.

You're better off with minimum squad size for marines, they're less likely to suffer from morale issues and it makes your opponent overkill them a lot.

I'm also not a fan of the dark apostle, he's really expensive for what you get, unless you have a silly model like a lord of skulls or falchion.

If you drop him and grab one more troops choice and 3x chaos spawn. You'll have a brigade and 5 extra cp and lots more bodies.

So, I can't actually afford that without losing my reinforcement points, but a brigade is a great idea.

Losing the dark apostle, splitting up the chaos space marines, and adding another unit so I have 5 5-man unitise nice. Then 2 units of bikers plus a single chaos spawn.

Also, without large squads my buff spells aren't as useful. I'm thinking about dropping prescience and obviously incursion is now useless as I'm at 15 reinforcement points.

You'll get 12+3 for battleforges so you'll end up with 15 total. Plenty to make your Khorne possessed fight twice and slanesh oblits fire twice all with veterans so you get the best out of everything you've got.
