I don't know much about Boris Johnson but he seems to inspire a lot of confidence with regard to monetary policy.
Just returned from a presentation on import and trade post-Brexit, the big takeaway was to consider the Euro more volatile than the GBP. In this context, that meant the speaker considers Brexit imminent.
UK Friends, is Boris considered some kind of savant / expert trade negotiator? This is a big shift in attitudes from just a few months ago.

There's a politics ban and you're starting a thread about the new UK Prime Minister?

This not last long but I will add we Don, t know what's gonna happen. Borris definitely is more of a wild card and unknown quantity than quite a few previous prime minsters.
It could be a interesting few months.
In before the block.
There's a ban on politics and political posts. They tend to all end up the same way. In alot of triangles of friendship, mod time and locks.
US was the worst, but the ban is fairly wide to save conflict.

No. His public persona is 'lovable buffoon' - we're hoping it's an act, but expecting to be disappointed (and screwed). I suspect it depends on who's giving the presentation.
Let's just say that someone suggesting 'confidence with regard to monetary policy' is a surprise I've never encountered before, but I can easily picture the kind of person saying it.
Especially if the speaker considers the Euro more volatile than Pound, let alone as a result of Brexit happening.

Little did we know, he was an actual genious righting all wrongs, singlehandedly defeating world Hunger, improving all infrastructure, Reforming education and healthcare and lowering the debt of the UK and successfully solving brexit.
.
.
.
(if any of this happens i am astounded and will take everything i said about his hair back!)

Lol his brother is his smarter, tidier clone.
His sister escaped that bad genetic lottery on hair though.
Given our current political calibre out there, there's not many good options to pick from. No one I've really seen is a leader to inspire and be a strong leader in crisis on any side or the spectrum. The majority are in history books.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |
