Hey everyone! Roadkill here.
I have recently made a purchase from MightyApe which should be arriving within the day, (According to them) and I was wondering what the Kiwis on here think is best.
I live in Canterbury, and always prefer a storefront to a website. How do you get your 40k and Fantasy models? A place where you can get square bases would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

That's a tricky one... MA are good, Vagabond in Auckland are also. Locally (Wellington region) we have three shops none of which have websites but there prices are not that great (we also have two GWs). Personally though for GW stuff I by in the UK/US and use youshop as I am not a fan of paying a massive mark up. For FFG I buy locally, it is still a massive markup but I play the game in the stores so feel obligated!
Best places for bases I have found are; https://www.wargamebaseworld.com/search and Ali Express, though asking around locally helps. Are you after many? I might be able to help you out if your need is not excessive.

On parle toujours mal quand on n'a rien à dire.

Thanks man! I appreciate the help.
I'll check out the places you've mentioned, but I'm just starting out.
I want to play Skaven in Fantasy, cuz' I think Sigmar is a bit silly, though that is subject to change.
I might contact you via PM if the need for square bases persists.

R'lyeh

I usually go through Mighty Ape (they have a lot of bases too, by the way), unless I've found a good overseas deal and feel like waiting.

Yep, as the guys have said, Mighty Ape or Vagabond for new stuff and the occasional good special, Trade Me for second hand stuff.

Of course, the best way to get GW is to buy it when you are in the UK
