Here is the new list I am thinking of running. The plan is to deploy the Eliminators up in cover and have their sergeants use Guided Aim for maximum effectiveness. The Hellblasters will be in the Impulsors, one squad with the Captain, the other squad with the Apothecary(who will be a faux-Captain with Expert Instructor). They will be trying to make use of the Liberator Strike Force's additional hits stratagem. The Apothecary will have Artificer Armor if that becomes available to Crimson Fists for added survivability. Pedro Kantor and a Lieutenant will be walking with the Aggressors as they move forward. The Intercessors with Power Fists will likely be moving up as well, but likely sticking around midfield. The other Lieutenant will be back with the other Intercessors.

Anyway, thoughts?

Yo man, I’ve got a very similar CF list myself, and I really like this style of play. Only thing I’ve done is made one battalion tac squads in rhinos instead, dropped an aggressor squad, eliminator and no hellblasters for vanguard vets w/Pedro party bus. Only thing I’d pick of this list is that it lacks forward momentum, as 10 helblasters in impulsors are an expensive road bump that shouldn’t really be thrown away too callously. If you meet an enemy with greater than 30” range or can take the middle of the board very quickly I think you’ll have trouble effectively picking your fights.

A quick aside too, I’m not to sure myself if the Las Fusils are a great choice. I haven’t used them in a game myself, so maybe you’ll find it different, but I think a Devastator squad or or other dedicated anti tank units could be a better choice.

Well, the Hellblasters will have a pretty hefty range due to the Impulsors pushing them effectively 23" up the board (Impulsor 14" move, 3" disembark, 6" move), so getting into Rapid fire range is pretty much assured (they have a 38" rapid fire threat range).

I am a little apprehensive about the Las Fusils as well, but they should be hitting most everything on twos and wounding most things on a 3+ or better due to Guided Aim. They are actually replacing a Devastator Squad with Lascannons.

I am a little worried about not having enough forward push (especially since Hellblasters are so dang expensive). Hopefully there will be more going on with the Imperial Fists (and hopefully Crimson Fists) supplement.
