I'm hoping someone can point me somewhere I can find casualty models that I can throw onto my monstrous creature bases to add a bit of extra wow factor. GW used to have a blister of space marine casualties but it's no longer available. Doesn't necessarily have to be marines either, civilians or anything that could stand in for a Guardsman would also totally work.

Buy two cheap boxes of Tacticals and get to work making them look dead. They're plentiful enough that you will be able to practice a good amount.

One of the big Tyranid models had a terminator casualty. I think it was the toxicrene?
Probably could get a bag of them from a blitz seller.

It is, it goes under the front right foot, if you make the Toxicrene, but is spare if you make the Maleceptor, or if you leave the Toxicrene with its foot hanging in the air.

This is your best bet my friend.
Alternatively, I highly recommend GW Skulls pack.
You will have skulls of different verities for for days!

This. One of my group's objective markers is a terminator who my dog (rest her soul) did a number on back in the day. All things considered she did a pretty good job of showing what would it would look like if a genesteeler caught up with you.

Remember to flatten the ‘ground side’ of your casualty - don’t want it ‘floating’

Also, if you use a guardsman/cultist model, consider placing him face down. The faces aren't great at the best of times, hard to paint well- and face down in the dirt is a particular kind of pathetic aesthetic.
Alternatively, the basic guardsman sprue comes with a separate helmet.
If you know a guard player, they can probably locate one for you free of charge. Any body in the dirt becomes an Imperial guardsman with the right paintjob and a cadian helmet nearby.

I remember when you'd get random casualties in blister packs, always used to drive me crazy back then! I dare say some careful ebaying might track them down.
