Hey peoples, below is the latest list I'm theory-crafting, buying and painting up for the 2020 year. I've been switching in and out Obliterators, a Possessed blob, and Maulerfiends for the Venomcrawlers. I start with a decent amount of CP, and there's plenty of good stratagems to use, which is why I'll have to play test to see how many relics I really want. Please let me know what you think of the viability of this fast, pretty aggro list, thanks!

Few thoughts, I'd swap the lascannon havocks and either the drake a venomcrawler for 3 Iron warrior or Alpha Legion oblits.

I've been using Alpha Legion ones with devestation battery, which with conceal and -1 to hit are insanely durable.

I have run a list with 3 Alpha Legion and 3 Iron Warrior oblits in and the IW one are super potent too and yiu don't have to get the specialist detachment.

Epitome is great but I would use Phantasmagoria if you're planning on using the gem and it also helps lock things up.

Overall I really like the list. It has lots of tricks and a lot of threats. I think if you have a lord discordant still up and running in turn 3 then you're onto a winner.

With that in mind I'd consoder swapping daemonsmith for bastion. Combined with dour duty you can make a lot out of 2+ armour saves in this list.

Also hydras wail might be a little more useful than the extra mechatendril attacks, as good as it is you're better burning off your opponents CP.

Hey, yeah that was my initial version of the list. I had 3 Alpha Legion Obliterators in there instead of the Heldrake and the Havocs. I'll still have to do more play testing to see which I like more. The drake kind of goes along with the whole 'in your face' approach and tying up something turn one. The reason I also don't like not having a way to take the randomness out of the D3 oblit profile, not having a MoP in this list. I'll look into the other psychic power for the Contorted Epitome. No probs, try taking them as Iron Warriors if you find the swingyness annoying. The rampant techno virus stratergem allows you to reroll all your d3s each time you shoot. It will be more reliable even without the rerolls to hit.

I love the core of this list. Ima steal it.

Been looking for a list like this for a while to run a 10 man term squad in aswell as Oblits. Think the terms go in alpha while the oblits go in the iron detach. Conceal is pretty nutty with how fast the rest of the list is.

Im pretty new to actually playing games. Whats your plan with the apostles in the alpha detach?

The apostles were basically there to buff the Chaincannon Havocs in case I don't throw Conceal on them. I've since changed this list quite a bit, but I used it as a framework. Glad you like it, and I'm sure you can change it to make it suit your needs.
