I already know a bunch of things about minipainting but i ran into some complications when actually starting to paint.
The only types of primer i have access to only come on white adn grey but i wanted to also use black for that zenithal primer technique.
So i was wondering if this would also work as a primer.
All they told me at the store is that is multiuse.

If anything on this violates the rules please let me know.

The bottle is in spanish, it says multiuse matt black spray paint.

Hi & Welcome

Id ask a mod to move this to the Painting & Modelling section.
Any questions regarding P&M go in that section to ensure people will see it.

A primer is a primer.. meaning it has specific properties that give better adhesion to give a surface for later layers of paint to attach to. So Unless it says primer, its not a primer.

Not saying using black spray won't work, but this depends on the spray. Some spray paints can go on really thick and might not work well with miniatures.

You could always use a grey primer, and then use the black as a basecoat layer on top, followed by the zenithal highlight.
Be mindful if you go on too thick you will start to lose detail. The key principles is as thin a layers as possible.
