Looking for some advice on the interaction of the two rules. When firing a combi weapon you roll two ammo check dice rather than one and use the worst to determine if you run out of ammo. Rapid fire says roll one die and that shows the number of shots fired.

So how does this work? If I have a combi plasma which is both Rapid Fire and Combi, do I roll, one die to begin with to get the shots and then a second to see if I run out of ammo, or both die at the same time and accept the worst for both shots fired and ammo?

As I understand it you roll one rapid fire dice. If that dice comes up with the ammo check icon you roll two d6 (instead of one) and take the worse result to determine if you have run out of ammo.
