Hi guys!
I'm looking for 6" objective markers that can be printed out for 40k. Similar to the ones you can buy on gamemat.eu. I was just gonna print them on paper, laminate them and cut them out with a pair of scissors.

6" is really big. Maybe just draw them however you want in powerpoint?

I have some 3d printed objective markers I made, but they're not remotely 6"; they're like 40mm.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

I think he means a 6” diameter circle type thing, that you lay down under an objective/as one and just count models in the circle rather than having to measure.

I’d just download Inkscape, set up rulers at 6”, draw circles and print it out.

As awesome as the idea of 6" markers is, something worth considering is the amount of terrain you play with and how the markers interact with it. Having a physical object that large prevents you from placing the centre of a marker in many locations.

As for your question, maybe just do a google search for appropriate imagery and make the markers based off them? As long as you have a way to reliably cut circles you don't even have to do anything fancy on the computer.

If anyone is interested i copied a gamemat.eu image of the 6 Objective markers into paint 3D, cropped all 6 to separate Word documents and used the ruler to scale the picture up to 6”. I printed them out, laminated them and cut them out with scissors. I played with them yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised, they can’t be placed in craters and uneven ground, but they’re thin, so you can place buildings, hills or whatever on top of it, and they look great. The ease of knowing you’re within an objective just by placeing your models on top of it is awesome.

I was going to suggest that it'd be dead simple to photoshop these up in a few minutes and scale them properly. Glad you figured it out.
