I call this list the shop local special. I'm an American and my local game-store is smart enough to keep closed. So I placed an order for their stock and made a list from it. Please let me know what you think, I'm personally wondering if I should replace the officer with another droid. This list was made having only glanced at the rules and watched battle reports, I want to paint now more than anything, but I still want to know if my years of war gaming is paying off with basic list building skills.

Darth Vader (190 + 25 = 215)
--Force Push (10), Force Reflexes (10), Saber Throw (5)

Stormtroopers (44 + 45 = 89)
--DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24), FX-9 Medical Droid (19), Recon Intel (2)

Stormtroopers (44 + 26 = 70)
--DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24), Recon Intel (2)

Snowtroopers (48 + 42 = 90)
--Flametrooper (20), Imperial Officer Upgrade (20), Recon Intel (2)

Shoretroopers (52 + 45 = 97)
--T-21B Trooper (32), Shoretrooper (13)

DF-90 Mortar Trooper (36 + 0 = 36)

Scout Troopers (Strike Team) (20 + 28 = 48)
--DLT-19x Sniper (28)

Scout Troopers (Strike Team) (20 + 28 = 48)
--DLT-19x Sniper (28)

Imperial Royal Guards (75 + 32 = 107)
--Electrostaff Guard (25), Tenacity (4), Environmental Gear (3)

If that's all you can get then its not too bad of a list. Decent amount of range and staying power. 9 activations is usually the low end of what you want in Legion. From experience with the game as an Imperial player I can tell you that Vader isn't seen too often, he's very slow and a melee monster in an army that really rewards a gunline. The Royal Guard should help get him up the field, but they tend to die fast even with a red die save.

The only big changes I would suggest (based entirely off of what you listed) would be to switch the officer to the shores and put recon intel on the snipers. The Shores are your heavy hitters and they are better served by having the higher courage over the Stormies. Recon intel stacks with the Scout 1 on the Strike Teams which gives them a free speed 2 move before the game begins. Really lets you set up threats early. Environmental Gear is not something that you see too often either, but your battlefield may differ so...eh.

One more thing, If you can sneak targeting scopes or offensive push onto your shores (or even stormies) they will absolutely become a threat an opponent will have to deal with.

Thank you! I made this list as a fun list and plan on eventually making a Veers list. The snowtroopers and royal guards where just bought for a hopeful paplatine list later.

I would definitely recommend Veers over Vader. Great support for a gunline and is way cheaper than Vader. He can free up a bunch of point for upgrades or even another activation. Iden is also worth a look when she becomes more widely available; she is one of the few non-force user courage 3 commanders in the game which is huge for panic tests. She get two really good ranged weapon upgrades and her three-pip command card is great for any special forces unit.

Snowtroopers can be fun, being able to aim/move/shoot or move/move/shoot can get you up to objectives fast even with speed one. Their only downside is their best special weapon (flamethrower) is range one which means it will be a couple of turns before you can get the most out of them.
