I'm not very creative, and (surprisingly for an ATC) my 3D visualization isn't very good. In our current lockdown I'm trying my hand at scratch building parts for my Chimera. It's already a Hellhound variant, out the box, so I'm looking to build it some new turrets. A magnetized multi laser and heavy bolter turret for one and a cannon armed turret for another.

My first ever scratch build came out ok (suprisingly ok actually) but it looks very Wehrmacht VK 3001P ish. I was hoping for something a little more along the lines of a Crusader Mk III or even the new Space Marine Predator. Does anyone know of a good cutting guide to make one with plasticard?

The grey one is my build. The Russ turret and the Predator turret are kits

I'm tempted to shorten the barrel, or put a bore evacuator or muzzle brake on it but I haven't decided. I'm going to fill the gaps in with filler and respray and paint it. It turned out well enough that I think I'm going to keep it.
Parts list, plasticard for main construction,
Nexus Marine hexagonal base,
Chimera hatch ring,
unknown source GW hatch with viewer,
koki pen section for mantlet,
koki pen for gun barrel (suitably oversized for WH40K scale),
Keymod mounting nut as co-ax.

There is also a las-canon power pack and a random aerial on the back.
