It's not just you, it's a bit slow for me too. It seems to happen from time to time. I blame ghosts

It seems that the server has been kicked and all is right (or at least as much as possible) with Dakka.

"Kicking" is just a crude term used by adepts when dealing with organics not inducted into the mysteries of the machine.

We all know that these things are only solved through hours of prayer, application of sacred oils and percussive maintenance using only the finest of blessed tools.

"Percussive maintenance” is the formal term for kicking the server.

Memory leaks are awful and a PITA to track down. Given how long Dakka has been around I can imagine there is probably some spaghetti code in a few places that just makes it that much worse.

I had it multiple times that the site thought i was offline even though i posted ?
