Wanting to introduce someone new to Age of Sigmar, I found this natty little narrative campaign (https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/04/09/solo-warhammer-troggoth-slayersgw-homepage-post-1/) where a small group of Ogors have to hunt down a Troggoth King that has been marauding in their area. After a few models were (finally) painted up and a quick over-arching story had been put together, it was time to hit the tables!

The Story So Far
Deep in the forests of Ghyran, the Bargrudd warglutt of the Meatfist Ogors had been suffering terribly at the hands of Nurgle Rotbringers and Clan Pestilens Skaven. Losing territory in battle after battle, the Ogors finally lost their great Tyrant, Qrogg Metalteeth, to a runaway Plague Furnace. Leaderless, the Meatfists were forced to retreat, ever squabbling over who should be the tribe’s new Tyrant.

A greedy and ambitious Ogor, known as Glungrakk the Feckless, knew he was unlikely to succeed in bashing every challenger for the throne without ending up in the Butcher’s pot himself, but if he could do something noteworthy that would grab the attention of every Ogor, something unprecedented…

The new region the Bargrudd warglutt had occupied, it turned out, was already home to a vicious (and hungry) group of Troggoths, led by a powerful Troggoth King. If Glungrakk could just make his way through Strangleweed Swamp and into the mountains, and bring the head of their king back to the tribe, the other Ogors would surely fall in line.
