So I got a 2000 point army of my Badmoonz from last Edition that needs to be adjusted a bit with the new stuff for 9th. People were very helpful with my evil sunz so I though I would try it with my Badmoonz as well. Let me know what you think. Please help how you can.

Drop the runtherd, it's useless. I'd give kan klaw to all the killa kanz as melee weapon and replace the grotzooka with another rokkit, and I'd change the dreads loadout: give at least one klaw to each dread and drop the big shootas for any other weapon you like. Saw, KMB, skorcha or rokkit are all better than big shootas.

I'm not convinced on small squads of boyz on foot and Da Jump is useless on 10 man squads. Try to make 2x30 instead, replacing the battallion with a patrol. You should also replace the spearhead with another patrol: you'd gain 1CPs without changing anything, just merge the mek gunz into the same unit.

Follow me ladz suits better the big mek with KFF, he's more likely to give the morale bubble to boyz than the SAG dude.

"Here is my list, improve it!" isn't exactly a lot to work with. :|

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks do not think that purple makes them harder to see. They do think that camouflage does however, without knowing why.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

Well, the list worked fine during 8th Edition, but now with the updates going on, Badmoonz aren't as effective as they used to be...unless that's not true. I'd assume that the army list is out of date. I'm looking to see if the army is still good or at least salvageable without just disbanding it altogether or scrapping it completely.

Are you looking to run it in tournaments? Do you have access to specialist detachments? What other models could you use?

Bad moons are just as good as bad as they were before, they have just fallen out of favor because the limits on detachments and because gretchin are too expensive to protect even more expensive lootas. Neither affects you a lot.
In general, you army hasn't lost that much besides points.

Oh, that's good then! That means I don't really need to change things too much.

Hmmm...that being said, I do sort of think that I think their wargear needs some changing in some spots. Like swapping out the guns on the deff dreads for skorchas, give rokkit launchaz to the kanz, klawz to the boyz...some changing about with the basic gear to improve their performance isn't a terrible idea.

What would I need to swap out to free up some points so they can hit harder, do you think?

I have a trukk, a mob of nobz, a morkanaut, and an extra killa kan I can use at some point. I also got a big mek in MA with a tellyporta blasta and killa klaw.

I'd just drop the entire gretchin detachment (it costs additional CP now) and try to fit the Morkanaut with sparkly bits in there instead. It's a mean shooting monster and benefits from your bad moons kulture.

You only need three units of troops, so combine your mobs into units of 30 for better use of stratagems and da jump, and either add a unit of gretchin or trukk boyz as third troops unit.

As for special weapons, nobz should have killsaws, I'd avoid giving anything big shootas or skorchas unless you are trying to burn leftover points.
