just a quick one. I'm right in thinking you can use this ability on cultists and thousand son Tzaangors right!?

Would have thought i'd been FAQ'd but i cant see it anywhere. They both have the heretic astartes and infantry keywords so cant see anything preventing it.

Thinking of a FB based army and depite the WoTS fluff i see him (if he did have a force) leading a bunch of his new men. T5 Tzaangors running about would be fun conversions and seems pretty legit now you don't have to roll for every model in the unit to see if they snuff it.

Cultists can be enchanced, no problem.

Tzaangors can also be enhanced, although you wouldn't usually be in a situation where those two units are in the same army. I guess you can always take a Thousand Sons army and have Fabius Tag along since he shares the Heretic Astartes keyword. He would need to be in his own detachment otherwise you would lose the Brotherhood of Sorcerors ability and any cult bonuses.

If you do it the other way round and make Bile your warlord then the Tzaangors would not be eligible to become CREATIONS OF BILE since they don't have a <LEGION> keyword to replace. This would prevent their entire detachment from getting Bile's legion trait. Again, you would need separate detachments.

Given that additional detachments cost points now, you are always going to be penalised for having Tzaangors and Bile in the same army.

oh yea CP tax whatever.

Unsure of the rest of the force but will likely be a TS patrol with a big Tzaangor unit and a shamen to start off.

opens up the other TS units if they can work to make cool ideas for fluffy fabius units

edit: sorcerer - shamens appear to be elites

I believe termis are a better choice for biles enhancements, they will also get a third wound.

well yea, and possessed who 'might' get the 3w thing too.

In the josh renholds novels there is a strong play on him giving up on marines and focusing on his new man.

Might be decent to rock up with 10 t5 X legion termintors but idea is go be a bit fluffy
