I've heard Tyranids can't use necrodermis, but that's just it. I just heard about it.

Any books or codices detailing Tyranids not using necrodermis? Literally the only thing I could find was Gladius (video game) and a teeny tiny paragraph in I think 7th codex saying Charnovokh dynasty got its tombs annihilated by Tyranids while they slept.

Considering their tendency to evolve, Tyranids of different Hive Fleets might well diverge on some lore aspects. Some might consume Necron material, others might not. 3rd edition tends to have them eating far more than some latter editions of codex - or at least taking time out to eat more.

Sometimes they will just strip a world of the most quickly digested and move on.

I know, but I was asking if out of those many, many different lore, if one of them says the tyranids left the necrodermis behind.

I was reading 1d4chan and it said tyranid burrowing organisms tunneled to the tombs, but I couldn't locate this so I'm assuming its a baseless claim made by one of them wiki editors. But maybe I'm wrong and there is lore somewhere saying tyranid burrowing organisms chewing through necrodermis or something?
