Does anyone know how to convert a .usdz file or any of 3d in a .stl archive?

I have tried several web pages and some programs and I can't..

And i really love this ork:

Is it possible to print it?

Thanks in advance

Got this answer from reddit:

USDZ (Universal Scene Description Zipped) is a lot more than just a 3d model. You first need to extract the USD file from within the USDZ, but thats still cameras and environments etc.

I would suggest using Unity to import the scene, then selecting the assets you want, and exporting those instead. OBJ filetype would be easiest exoprt option from Unity to Rhino.

I've never heard of this file format, i just had to look all this up. look like its main use is Apple device-geared pixar VR projects?. If this isn't your game asset, you may want to check if you are allowed to convert it.

File container details: https://graphics.pixar.com/usd/docs/Usdz-File-Format-Specification.html

Information about the USD import plugin for Unity:

thanks for answer!

In the end I download dae. format which is much easier to convert to .stl.

The problem is that on the way it loses textures ... and the result is much flatter than expected.

I want this:

And i get this..

I'm very noob in this .. is it normal? is there a way to give details to the design again?

It really depends on how much of the first is textures over flat volumes and how much is actual volumetric detail, I guess. It could also have to do with the conversion details, dunno.
