Blood Angel Terminator with Lightning Claws

Hey
I just recieved a sealed Vyper in a white mail order box it consists of the main bike sprues stamped 1996 and a wave serpant heavy weapon sprue stamped 2004.
The problem I have is that the serpent weapons dont fit into the bike turret
Do you guys know what I can do to make them fit or am I stuck with the shuriken cannon?

If you are sure its a mistake I'd just write to GW customer support, photograph and note the problem and any batch numbers (They'll want your reciept as well) and then they should send out a replacement.
PS are you sure you're assembling it correctly? I just checked one of mine and it also has a 2004 weapon sprue. The bulb on the underside of the weapon with the slot for a rod should push into the cup segment on the viper turret.

The shuriken cannon on the bike sprue has small locator tabs that clip into the turret and allow it to move up and down with no sideways movement.
I chopped out the missile launcher and it just dont fit in the turret

Ive sent the customer service an email about it, just waiting for a reply.
The only way I see would to paint it all up and use a ball of blutack like GW do in their photos, which would save paint from wear and chipping.

The weapons from the heavy weapons sprue aren't really designed to fit in the vyper turret in the same way that they work in the Wave Serpent or Falcon turrets, but they should physically fit as Overread said, by putting the bit with the hole (that the rod would slot through on a wave serpent turret) into the mount. I think if you want it to be swappable you need to rig up a system for it yourself (magnets/rods/blu tac), because otherwise you'd just have to glue it in. Mine, for example, I've drilled a hole through the side of the mount where I can slide a 2mm steel rod through, that goes through the hole in the weapon.
It's not perfect, but better than when they came out and you didn't get the extra weapon sprue at all.

That's great although I'm not going to using the models, they will be going into a cabinet so I'm not worried about damage.
I will probably just stick with the blu tack
Thanks
