Printable Scenery's Shadowfey kickstarter is a dark fantasy set that is perfect terrain for Mordheim, Frostgrave or your Dungeon & Dragons games set in the Shadowfell.

Its designed so that the ruins can be pulled apart to create a wide variety of different building configurations, so its going to be really easy to populate a city board with them.

Check it out here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/printablescenery/shadowfey?ref=ciozys

Pretty cool, but man are there a lot of STL kickstarters on right now...

Not gonna lie, you are correct. We were mildly surprised in the fortnight leading up how many new players were getting into 3D printable terrain.

Yes, the new KS offerings either need to be really cheap or unique. I think you definitely capture the unique category - well done!

Nice part about Printable scenery (at least from what I've seen in the past) They tend to put their kickstarters up for sale on their website so if you miss one, you can always get it later

We're gonna need another Timmy!

Cheers MDSW, it went through a lot of different designs before we landed on the stacking system for the ruins!

Yeah we don't like the idea of exclusivity (hence why we made our OpenLOCK clips open source) so we always make sure that it is available later just not at the awesome price that the Kickstarter offers.

Maybe when I'm done printing all of Brave New Worlds I'll pick up something else

I do like the look of them but they seem a bit too dense. With buildings like these you want to be able to access your miniatures at any time, at any point in the building, without having to take layers of the building apart. Nice looks, not great execution.

The models are quite easy to access really, maybe with the roof on the attic models are a little harder but thats why its designed to pull apart. you can get a better idea of the layout from the vid above.
