Am I missing something or can Space wolves take stormravens now? and if so am I missing something further where there is no restriction on transporting wulfen in them?

Page 124 of Codex Space Marines ("Non-Codex Compliant Chapters") tells us what units Black Templars, Dark Angels, Deathwatch and Space Wolves may not take. As the Storm Raven is not listed there then it is legal to field in a Space Wolves detachment.

As the Stormraven is not on the prohibited list of units, Space Wolves can take normal Stormraven Gunships just fine now, in addition to the Stormwolf.

The Transport section for the Stormraven Gunship on page 193 of the SM Codex clearly states how WULFEN models are handled.
