Just curious if there is lore supporting a narrative of one of the noble houses of the Imperial Knights dedicating themselves to the inquisition. Yes, I know if the inquisition requisitions a house, the house will likely obey, but thats not quite what I am looking for... but instead a house that has dedicated all of its resources to one of the ordo's cause or to a particular inquisitor. Here is why I ask.

I am wanting my own house of imperial knights who would be an offshoot of house Krast. This household has dedicated itself to the cause of the Ordo Malleus, and their pilots swears their fielty to a particular inquisitor in the ultimate goal of hunting Chaos. The lore I am thinking is that this household was house Krast, but in order to better hunt Chaos they have sworn their support to the Ordo Malleus instead. This goes along with the design for the rest of my armies. My guardsmen, grey knights, and imperial knights are all meant to be forces dedicated to the Ordo Malleus' cause, in particular, Coteaz.

Thoughts?

I'm not aware of any "canon" examples but Hawkshroud does Oath Bound knights to other elements of the Imperium.

If you can build some back story as to how an Inquisitor earned the Oath Bound of an entire Knight House you should be fine.

Or you could have it that a Baron & his knights started out Oath Bound and the Inquisitor built them up to a full house hold thanks to his contacts/influence.

If you're going with Coteaz he could easily have that level of influence.

Personally, my Knights are treated as Mega Dreadnougts for my Space Marine Chapter after they recovered them from a newly conquered Xenos world (Ex-Knight World).
