Okay, so my army idea is to do a beast themed army using mostly Wargames Atlantic models.
My infantry squads and Officers will use their Raumjager models, my Conscripts will use their yet unreleased lizardmen and I would like to use their giant spider models to represent Bullgryn with mauls and slabshields.
Playing with my regular opponent will not be a problem as I told him my idea and he loved it, but I would like to take the army to a game club once all this C19 stuff is over. My question is, do you think people would have a problem with this army?
Thanks

I would deffo play against it. As long as the units were visually distinct enough.
As always is best to discuss beforehand with any store or group you visit with such a bad ass army.

See here They have the right mass, but are nowhere near tall enough. With riders on them, I could buy it; but not on their own.

The legs are all separate, so could use pieces of terrain to increase the height. Having the spiders climbing over the terrain to create mini dioramas.

If it works for you and your buddy go for it.
If the game club is in a GW store, forget it.
I have to say I'm not sold... but it's YOUR game not mine... enjoy!

I'd love to play against it.
However, I think you've ventured far enough from easy-to-identify proxies that folks in another setting might find it problematic.
With Proxies or Alternate models, staying as close as possible to the size and armament of what you're replacing is the best practice.
