In the warp, searching for Marbo

Trying to build a fluffy Alpha Legion army in the realm of 1600 points/75 Power Level. I wanted to build along the lines of having cultists and other units popping up and disappearing(sewing confusion) all over the battlefield. The legion being famous for things like this, I tried to make something to reflect this and seemed fun to play.

Does this look like a fluffy list? Could it use some changes/tweaks to make it better(yet still fluffy)?

(old list)

Kind of thought I could use the Faceless Commander warlord trait to teleport my warlord next to deep strikes. Give the terminator Sorcerer We are Alpharius stratagem so he can take Master of Diversion to give me a redeploy advantage, as well as buff my termies. Cultists just run upfield providing a distraction and the CSM/Chosen squads provide midfield/close combat support using Renascent Infiltration to reposition if needed.

One list-building caveat is that the Daemonettes need to be in their own detachment for the list to be legal. They can't be added as a Troop in a Chaos Space Marines detachment. You would need to include a Daemons patrol detachment, which would also require a daemon HQ.

On the fluffiness of the list, I actually don't like the Master of Possession or Daemonettes at all. Alpha Legion meticulously plan every operation for months or years in advance. I think daemons would be far too much of a wild card to factor into Alpha Legion strategies. Daemons can't really be controlled, are constantly pursuing their own agendas, may not show up where and when the Alpha Legion want them to, etc. I don't see any Alpha Legion commander wanting to work with and rely on daemons for their plans.

I was thinking about the same thing with the Daemons. I could see some particularly nasty AL warbands trying to cause chaos with Daemons as a distraction, but I think having a full-blown Master of Possession is way too far for them. They're definitely one of the legions which thinks of chaos as a weapon rather than a philosophy. If you really want the AL to have Daemon allies, I would see them going with Nurgle or Tzeench above Slannesh. Tzeench obviously has the "cunning scheme" thing going on with him with works well with the Alpha Legion mindset, and Nurgle Daemons are usually fond of absurd tricks, complicated math, and/or excruciatingly slow plans, which are also present in the AL to some degree.

Alpha Legion also turned traitor in the first place because the Cabal prophecy indicated that overthrowing the Imperium was the only way to end Chaos. Using daemons as a weapon kind of goes against their entire reason for fighting.

To be fair, we don't really know if the average AL warband knows about the Cabal stuff, or for that matter, if Alpharius and Omegon even believed in it in the first place (as evidenced by the whole gene-seed incident). I could easily see the AL using Daemons for any number of reasons, depending on what their goals are and how they wish to accomplish them.

Thanks to them going to any lengths to complete their mission, I believe they'd use demons, but you guys make a convincing argument.

I replaced the MoP with the hammer/Ppistol Chaos Lord and replaced the demons with Chosen which I'm thinkin' of getting the forgeworld heads and treating them as Head Hunters.

I also made a few more gear tweaks, and chose to keep the old list just for reference.
