My thread last year kept me going. Let's run it back! How many miniatures can I paint in 2021?
I originally painted these Jes Goodwin Skaven (mid-80's Citadel miniatures) a few years ago. I touched them up and rebased them recently.
NPC tavern dwellers. The first three are Soldiers & Swords townsfolk. I don't know when they were sculpted exactly. The fourth fellow is a Wargames Foundry "Time Warped Wizard" released in 2016 (though sculpted in the late 80's, I guess)
This lion is "Sholo the Lion" from TSR's Advanced Dungeons and Dragons - Conan line, featuring characters from the Marvel Conan comics of the early 80's. I believe this one was released in 1983. Most of TSR's AD&D miniatures have a (rightfully) bad rep, but the Conan miniatures were pretty decent.
Troglodytes sculpted by Tom Meier in 1983. They're currently available from Ral Partha Legacy.

Lesser Troglodytes. again sculpted by Tom Meier in 1983. I really struggled with these, and I'm not very happy with how they turned out.
Some pre-slotta Slann sculpted by the Perry brothers for Citadel in 1983. I based the colors for these on poison dart frogs.

Adeptus Arbites. The first two are from Wargame Foundry's "Empirical Absolution and Liquidation Squad" set. They were originally sculpted (possibly by Trish Carden?) for Rogue Trader, but never released by Citadel. The third figure is a Citadel figure from the second Adeptus Arbites range, from around 1993, sculpted by Jes Goodwin.
Citadel C25 Animal: Mule, from 1983. Sculpted by Michael and Alan Perry.
TSR Rust Monster from 1984.
Every mighty horde has to start somewhere. Plastic snotling, orc, and goblin. These are Citadel miniatures from the mid-90's, presumably sculpted by Kev Adams.

Doors! So many doors. These are from the Kill Team Rogue Trader set, already set up for a battle:
Astra Militarum Taurox, the beginning of my Necromundan 8th Regiment, the "Spiders."

The old school stuff is great. I wish GW would use the old Guard models for new plastic guardsmen. They are so cool.

A little something for Orctober, a C15 Armoured Orc and a plastic Night Goblin that came free with an issue of White Dwarf some time around 2006.
The orc horde continues to grow!

A couple of minis I painted 10-20 years ago, and recently touched-up and re-based. The dwarf from the original Warhammer Quest and a very old Ral Partha halfling I bought back in the mid-80's.

I believe that I've painted up every astropath that Citadel ever produced.
From left to right:
- One of the original 40K miniature releases
- A Rogue Trader Adventurer
- One of the figures released for Talisman Timescape
- A figure released for 40K 3rd edition's Daemonhunters range
- One of the Regimental Advisors still available for the Astra Militarum range
