I shared these a long time back. Then I had sculpted heavy armor and it didn't look good. So, new and improved. Using my Amazon plastic torsos's they look much better. The heads are from Statuesque. Bits from everywhere. About 95% done here. Not perfect (just a mediocre
GS guy myself) but I'm happy and they are unique. The chains/reins are too large, but I used what I had and will live with it. These represent my elite. The other 30 are on horses.
Squadron leader/officer first. Very happy with the arm angle with the sword. Looks like a full out swing as she rides by.
Command Squad:
Just for comparison, the color scheme of my army.
The entire army can be found in this gallery: Altogether this army is really striking on the table. Full bases, a lot of conversions, unified paint scheme all makes up for my somewhat mediocre painting. I claim no great skill, and yet this army has taken best army twice at different stores. (Small pond and all. I could never touch any of the pro level stuff at big tourneys) I point this out for all the people who think their painting isn't up to par. Just finishing a whole army is an accomplishment and people will notice!
