This came to me as I was putting my Pink Horrors together, and I'm still confused as to wherever it would work:

If I lose a Pink Horror to an attack and it splits into two Blues, can I then take any additional wounds from the same attack on the new Blues?

I.e. - I have a unit of Pinks and they're shot with a Heavy Bolter. All 3 shots wound, at which point I take the saves one at a time. I fail an invulnerable save and a Pink is destroyed, and I swap it for two Blues. I then roll the other two saves against the Blues, saving me the risk of losing two more Pinks.

Now I suppose this goes into the territory of fast-rolling, and from what I can gather, we would ideally resolve each attack sequence individually, but can I choose to do this way instead?

Second question: If I lose a Pink and it splits into two Blues but the Pink comes back to life for some reason (usually through Reality Blinks), do I then lose the Blues that spawned as a result of it dying? I'm assuming no but thought it wise to double-check.

Attacks are resolved one at a time, so just roll to hit, then to wound, then the enemy allocates the hit and rolls to save, and remove casualties if any. repeat this sequence if your shooting unit has more shooting attacks in his dice pool.

Damage does not carry over from a single model to the next. So if you shoot a lascannon and hit, and wound, and the enemy fails their save, you do D6 damage to that model. if 2 damage was enough to kill that model, then the other 4 damage does not matter and is discarded without affecting anything else.

If your unit of pink horrors suffers 7 wounds, its up to you to allocate those wounds to your models, one at a time, even if hits were fast rolled. So, one pink dies, and splits into two blues. Now you can allocate the next wound to a blue, if it dies, it splits into two brims, now you can allocate the next two wounds to a brim, if they die you have no more brims left, so you allocate to a blue, if it dies, it can split into two brims, now you allocate the next two wounds to the brims. If i counted correctly you now have allocated all wounds to models in your unit. You only lost one pink horror, but, of course, you have to pay reinforcement points to split them in matched play.

When pinks return, they simply return as the daemonic icon rule says, no other models are removed.
