Hi all,

I'm hoping for a bit of advice with my recently revived Space Pups.
I haven't really played since 4th Ed except for the odd game or two. I have been completely out of the loop rules wise other than reading up about new releases.
During our very own end times I have been rebuilding my pups and giving them some sense of structure to tie them into 9th ed.

Roughly I have, and would possibly like to include:
Ragnar
Bjorn
Jump Pack Chapain/WP with Plasma Pistol
Librarian/RP can either have Jump pack or just walk.
5 Indomitus Assault Intercessors
10 Bikers
8 SkyClaws
3 Plasma Inceptors
Longfangs (obligatory missile launchers with bits for most other options except Grav)
Wolf Guard termies
Repulsor Tank
In the bank I have Termie Librarian, parts to swap out for WG Terminators, WG GH BC Power armour.

In the past I have run all plasma all the time on Blood Claws. I will be playing mainly against A non comp Dark Angels player (But using the new 'wing flavours) Tyranids (Stealers, Broodlord, Swarmlord and heavy gribblies) and Orks.

My own thoughts are to run Ragnar and the Intercessors in the Repulsor. Getting Ragnar into melee where he can work his magic.
Chaplain flies around with Skyclaws maxed out on plasma pistols and Power Fists along with my plasma inceptors to bring searing hot death where its needed.
2x units of 5 Bikers. I have modelled a Thunder hammer pack leader on bike along with 2x Plasma gunners. I'm wondering if I should equip the other 5 man unit with melta combimelta/powerfist for anti tank?
My Librarian could have a jump pack would he be better served with the skyclaws or helping the bike squads? Would it be better to have a chaplain on a bike?

Wolf Guard Termies teleport where needed to smash what they can.

Bjorn is a favourite of mine but I am worried that he is only effective buffing backfield shooting units like my Long Fangs?

What do I need to be adding so I can get ObSec for grabbing and holding objectives? Do I have enough or should I rethink?

I'm definitely set on having as much plasma as possible. And would at least like to try out the Repulsor.

Any tips for using what I have would be appreciated.

Just throw things together and get some games in. SM are generally very strong so you do not need to focus min maxing.

I played a 'good list' as SW vs my friends Orks and it was no fun for both of us. I just won hands down. So just play anything you want.

I am a dyslectic, so bear with me.

I don't want to be a min maxer but also don't want to auto loose even with a mashed togther list.

Some info about best synergies with what I have would be helpful.

you want 1=2 impulsors for a ragnar list or a termite drill(buy the mantic games one).

chap or libby should be xtra warlord with rites of war(which lets all core in 6" be obj secured) this is a key trait and turns on all the crazy good core elites into ob sec killers/holders and grabbers.

otherwise list is fine to start with.

get bladeguard awesome paired with ragnar.

More ass int for the impulsors or normal ints with serg thunderhammer is also good.

Switch them out for Thunderwolf cavalry. 6 attacks per model on the charge (7 for pack leader) is just too good to pass up.

I'm building a SW list at the moment and plan to run 6 of them, minumum.

I honestly like bikes better than TWC. Maybe Im playing with too much terrain but the TWCs large bases always hinder them massively. 5 bikes with a power fist OTOH are always a performing unit that is more flexible with 20 bolter shots. But don't run units larger than 5, those stricter coherency rules really make life difficult

JP wolfguard are better than bikes/wulfen or TWC.

WS or Da bikes are great.

The 2+ 4++ of a stormshield is practically compulsory these days.
