Hello chums!

It feels like such a long time since I timidly posted on here announcing our first wave of the Women of Soviet Russia range, it's been about 6 years but so much has happened in that time right!

On Wednesday (7th April 2021) we'll be launching a Kickstarter to expand this range even more with a whole heap of winter troops as well as more support for the summer/standard uniform.

All the sculpts are complete and master cast to make sure they're all excellent, which they are (woooo!) so the Kickstarter is to help people actually see them, and fund the end bit of the getting production moulds made and the first lump of casting.

There will be stretch goals too assuming it goes well! We will be doing further Soviet WW2 releases after this too, so don't worry if the unit/troop type you wish for isn't coming in this, the better this goes, the sooner we can get even more reinforcements!

It starts 7th April and is only a week - so to 14th, you can sign up to be notified here!

6pm UK time start!

It's been a tough 12 months with everything going on in the world and still somehow being a one woman business, so any help and support is even more amazing than usual! Whether it's by backing, or just sharing and cheerleading around!

Cheers all, I'll be updating this with more pics and info as we go along, super excited!

Nice!

My only recommendation is to make a scale shot with them alongside some other manufactuer's Russians.

Cheers, as soon as I read your message I thought "yes, idea!" and phoned North Star, so I'll be assembling and photographing minis tonight from Artizan, Crusader & Warlord for comparisons!

I gave a couple minis to Little Ninja Painting to see what he did with them, as he's been building some beautiful dioramas with some of our other WW2 miniatures.

he pulled this off in a couple of days! WOW! This is the new winter medic (carrying a chap, and his gun, never forget the gun!) and one of the SMG infantry, and he's built this whole scene with them. It's brilliant, and I love how our minis inspire this sort of creativity!

That is fantastic.

And not to tell you how to boil eggs, but if someone has a spare GW Valhallan to throw in the scale shot that might get some new interest from the IG crowd.

It's tonight! Excited!

John Morris (left two) and Pandemonium Miniatures (right) have added some colour and they look so stunning!

Loved the tankers and snipers you've put out before! Budget permitting I'll have to snatch up the pilots.

And a later stretch goal is for Dzhulbars! He's gonna be the 13k unlock with his handler Dina Volkats sniffing out some mines together! Well...him doing the sniffing. Between September 1944 to August 1945 he was credited for finding 7,468 mines and 150 shells!!! He also got a medal for battle merit. Aww! WHAT A GOODE BOI!

And the lovely Little Ninja Painting shipped me this diorama so I was able to take a really evocative close up

Thanks everyone so far! Looking at snowverall snipers after too, brrrrrr

In for some more tank commanders, as the happy owner of all previous packs of tankers, both soviet and post-apocalyptic, I just know these will also be great additions.

LAST FEW HOURS!

We've unlocked the guitarist, will we get her adoring fan?

The Eastern Front is obviously a very grim setting, and whilst fascinating to research, it can get very heavy! This range has a much less jolly feel than the last load of Home Front British miniatures, for obvious reasons (being more front line based) but I wanted to add some endearment in there to make people smile. And when I research these projects, the people definitely make their way into my heart through the memoirs and photographs. So I'd like them to be having a bit of fun.

So far we have the accordion player and dancers, and these will fit brilliantly with them to make a nice camp fire diorama (check out our camp fires too!).
