It's always struck me as odd that the daemon princes of the Death Guard don't get the plague weapon ability for their melee weapons. You would think that any daemon of Nurgle would be packed with disease that it touching someone would be highly toxic. By not allowing their claws, sword and axe to be plague weapons, they both feel less fluffy and are unnecessarily hampered. For example, they can't take any of the relics that require a unit to initially have a plague weapon, and they can't benefit from getting toxins for melee, despite being a mainly melee unit. Anyone here either agree or disagree?

I mean.. hitting on 2s with decent str -3 and flat 3 damage on the sword currently is crazy good. Adding rerolls on top would just be crayzey..

That is true. I think one way to deal with this would be to allow some non-plague weapons to take pathogens.
